There is a rabbit who’s in the habit of mixing potions on the moon
Deep in the night by lunar light, he stirs with his great silver spoon
Watch him wrestle with mortar and pestle concocting a magical brew
The hare likes to prepare his ingredients there into a bubbling stew
He’s gone there to churn and never return to the forests of Earth below
He likes the moon’s surface to use for his purpose, bathed in a celestial glow
This outer space mixer blends his super elixir in his large cauldron of stone
He’s done so for ages , through history's pages and prefers to do it alone.

The Moon Rabbit! If you look, you just might see him up there. He’s a regular occupant of the
lunar surface, according to folklore from East Asia to the Mayan peninsula. He’s mixing away
and what is really in that cauldron of his-is anyone’s guess. I sleep better though, knowing he’s
there, going about his rabbity business.
